Home Lab Gen V Build: Part 3 – Motherboard Overview

Posted on Updated on

** Note: I’ve updated my Home Lab to Gen 7, please go to my BLOG Series for more information on this update. **

In this video I’ll cover an overview of the X79 motherboard I choose from my Gen V Home lab.

If you like my ‘no-nonsense’ videos and blogs that get straight to the point… then post a comment or let me know… Else, I’ll start posting really boring content!

Thank you for the comment. My Gen V Home lab ran vSphere 6.7 (ESXi, VCSA, vSAN) , however there were some build challenges when I went to vSphere 7 and that is why I swapped out this motherboard. See the ‘BLOG SERIES’ section for all the blog articles around my home labs.
